To keep your account secure, our application automatically ends your session after 4 hours of inactivity. This is a standard security practice to protect your data if you step away from your System.
What does “inactivity” mean?
Inactivity means no mouse movements, clicks, typing, or other interactions with the application. Simply keeping the browser tab open does not count as activity.
Where can I see how much time I have left?
After you log in, you will notice a small clock icon next to the settings (gear) icon in the top-right corner of the header.
(Clock icon shown as a round clock with remaining time displayed)
Next to the icon, the remaining time is always visible in a clear format, for example: 3h 45m (3 hours and 45 minutes left)
The timer updates automatically every minute. No need to refresh the page.
What happens when I hover over the clock?
When you move your mouse over the clock icon, a tooltip appears with the exact message:
“Your session will end in 4hours if idle.”
This gives you an instant reminder of how much idle time remains.
Can I extend my session?
Yes. Any action you take (clicking a menu, typing, scrolling, or navigating to a different page) resets the 4-hour inactivity timer back to 4h 00m. As long as you keep using the application, your session stays active.
What happens when the timer reaches zero?
If you remain completely idle for 4 full hours, the system will automatically log you out and display the login screen again.
You will not lose any unsaved work in most cases (the application saves progress automatically where possible), but you will need to log in again to continue.
Why do we have this 4-hour limit?
A 4-hour idle timeout is a balanced security setting used by many enterprise and financial applications. It significantly reduces the risk of unauthorized access if your device is left unattended, while still being convenient for normal daily use.
Tips to avoid unexpected logouts
Keep the application active if you plan to step away for a while (for example, move your mouse occasionally). Save important work regularly (most features auto-save, but it is always a good habit). If you’re going to be away for more than a few hours, simply log out manually. It’s the safest option.
