Overview
Frequency defines the timing at which an Integration Bridge runs.
It determines when the integration starts and how often it executes.
There are two types of Frequency: Schedule and Interval.
What Is Frequency?
Frequency controls the execution timing of an Integration Bridge.
It allows users to define when the integration should start and how frequently it should run.
Types of Frequency
Schedule
Schedule allows users to define a specific start time for the Integration Bridge.
The integration begins at the scheduled time and continues to respond based on the defined duration.
- Execution starts at the scheduled time defined by the user
- Runs based on a defined duration
- Can be scheduled every minute, hour, day, week, or month
Interval
Interval runs the Integration Bridge immediately for the first execution.
Subsequent executions occur after the defined interval time.
- First response occurs immediately
- Next executions occur after the defined interval
- If no interval is defined, execution occurs every 60 seconds
When to Use
- Use Schedule when execution must begin at a specific time
- Use Interval when immediate execution is required with repeated runs
Frequently Asked Questions
What does Frequency control?
Frequency controls when and how often an Integration Bridge runs.
What is the difference between Schedule and Interval?
Schedule starts the integration at a defined time, while Interval runs immediately and repeats after a defined time gap.
What happens if no interval is defined?
If no interval is defined, the Integration Bridge runs every 60 seconds.
Notes
- Frequency determines execution timing
- Two types are available: Schedule and Interval
- Schedule supports minute, hour, day, week, and month durations
- Interval defaults to 60 seconds if not specified
