To download customized reports with filters in Goldfinch Analytics, follow these steps to easily save, select, and download filtered data.
Step-by-Step Guide
- Navigate to Discover
- Click on the side menu option on the left side of the screen.
- Select “Discover” from the sidebar.
- Choose the Data Source you want to explore. If your desired Data Source isn’t visible, type the Data Source name in the search field, and results will appear as you type.
Note : If this is a new discovery report, add all the columns needed. If not, select “Save As” and then use filters.
- Set Filter Criteria

- On the Discover page, enter the desired parameters in the widget to specify how you want to fetch data.
- Use filter conditions to narrow down the results within your selected Data Source. (For more help on filter queries, visit: Filter Queries for Reports and Dashboard)
- Save the Filtered Report

- Once you’ve applied all filters, click on “Save Discover” in the top right corner. This will save your filtered view as a report.
- Access the Downloads Section

- Go back to the side menu and select “Downloads”.
- To add your saved report to the download list, click on the “+” icon at the top right of the screen.
- Choose Report and Size Options

- In the Downloads Section, select your saved report from the list. You can search for it if necessary by typing in the search field.
- Choose the desired file size for the download, then click Save to add it to your Downloads list.
- Download the Report

- In the Downloads list, locate the Add/Download column and select Download. Your filtered report will be downloaded in a ZIP format.
