Integration Bridge Run Once

Overview

The Run Once feature allows you to test an Integration Bridge configuration using a limited data set.
It helps validate integration settings quickly without executing a full data run or generating streaming logs.

This feature is primarily used during development and troubleshooting to verify that source, operations, and target configurations work as expected.

What Is Run Once?

Run Once is a testing function that executes an Integration Bridge using only the first 1,000 records from the source.
It enables fast validation of data flow and configuration accuracy without running the entire integration.

Where to Find the Run Once Button

The Run Once button is available in the top-right corner of the following sections:

  • Source
  • Operations
  • Target
  • Summary

Purpose

The primary purpose of Run Once is to provide a fast and controlled way to validate integration configurations.
It allows users to confirm that data is processed and delivered correctly before performing a full execution.

By limiting processing to the first 1,000 records, Run Once helps reduce risk and improve testing efficiency.

How It Works

When Run Once is executed, the system processes a limited set of source data and applies all configured operations.
The processed data is then delivered to the target system for immediate verification.

  • Only the first 1,000 source records are processed
  • All configured operations are applied
  • Data is sent to the target system
  • No streaming logs are generated

This controlled execution helps ensure accurate testing without affecting production data flows.

When to Use

Run Once should be used when you need to validate configurations before enabling full integration runs.

  • Testing source-to-target mapping during setup
  • Debugging operations or field configurations
  • Confirming data flow before scheduling a full run

This feature is ideal for early-stage development and pre-deployment verification.

How to Configure / How to Use

To execute a test run using the Run Once feature, follow these steps.

  • Open the Integration Bridge in edit mode
  • Navigate to the Source, Operations, Target, or Summary section
  • Locate the Run Once button in the top-right corner
  • Click the Run Once button to start the test execution
  • Review the results in the target system

The system processes the limited data set immediately after activation.

Troubleshooting

If the Run Once execution does not produce expected results, review the configuration settings.

  • Verify source connection and data availability
  • Check operation and field mappings
  • Confirm target system configuration
  • Re-run the test after making adjustments

Since no logs are generated, validation should be performed directly in the target system.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Run Once feature?

Run Once is a testing function that processes only the first 1,000 source records to validate an Integration Bridge configuration without running a full integration.

Does Run Once generate logs?

No. Run Once does not create streaming logs, keeping the log history clean during testing.

How many records are processed during Run Once?

Run Once processes only the first 1,000 records from the source system.

Can Run Once be used for production runs?

No. Run Once is designed for testing and validation, not for full production data processing.

Where can I see the results of Run Once?

The results can be verified directly in the configured target system after execution.

Notes

  • Run Once is intended for development and troubleshooting
  • No streaming logs are generated during execution
  • Only a limited data set is processed
  • It helps validate configurations before full deployment

Using Run Once enables efficient and low-risk testing of Integration Bridge configurations before enabling complete integration workflows.
