Copy Operation
The Copy Operation feature allows users to quickly duplicate an existing data operation within an Integration Bridge (IB). This helps streamline workflow setup by reducing repetitive manual configuration. Whether you’re working with transformation, enrichment, or any other operation, this feature ensures consistency and saves time, making the integration design process faster and more efficient.
Copy operation has the following characteristics:
- Duplicates Entire Configuration: Creates an exact copy of a selected data operation, including all filled or partially filled settings.
- Saves Time & Effort: Eliminates the need to manually re-enter parameters when creating similar operations.
- Supports All Operation Types: Works across all operation types within the pipeline (e.g., transformation, enrichment, validation, etc.).
- Ideal for Repetitive Use Cases: Especially helpful in scenarios where similar logic or configurations are used multiple times.
- Maintains Consistency: Ensures uniformity across duplicated operations, reducing the chance of manual errors.
Copy operation behaves as follows:
- Users select an existing operation in the pipeline.
- Click the Copy Operation button (positioned next to Mute and Clear buttons) initiates the duplication.
- The copied operation retains all the data and parameter values of the original, including partially filled configurations.
- Users can modify the copied operation independently of the original one.
- Copying is also allowed for operations that are currently muted.
